We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator with expertise in rockworks placement to join our team. You will be responsible for operating excavators efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to place rocks for coastal, offshore, or port construction projects.
- Ensure precise placement and alignment of rock materials according to project specifications.
- Monitor and control excavation processes to achieve optimal results.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on excavator equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records and operational logs.
- Collaborate with vessel crew and shore-based management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Valid medical certificate (ENG1 or equivalent).
- Experience operating excavators, particularly in rockworks placement.
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, rock placement methods, and maritime construction.
- Familiarity with maritime safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
