We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Officer to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel while complying with international maritime regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in vessel operations and navigation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Oversee deck operations, cargo handling, and stability management.
- Manage and supervise deck crew and watchkeeping duties.
- Conduct safety drills and ensure proper implementation of safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with ISM and ISPS regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure optimal vessel performance.
Requirements
- Valid medical certificate
- Valid STCW Code II/1 certification.
- Valid Certificate of Competency and all required maritime documents.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of vessel stability, navigation, and cargo handling.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
