We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wire Crane Operator with expertise in vibrocompaction to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating wire cranes efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate wire cranes to perform lifting, positioning, and vibrocompaction activities safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and control the vibrocompaction process to ensure optimal ground improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on crane equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records and operational logs.
- Collaborate with vessel crew and shore-based management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Valid medical certificate (ENG1 or equivalent).
- Valid SOMA stage 3 and relevant maritime qualifications.
- Experience operating wire cranes, particularly in vibrocompaction.
- Strong knowledge of lifting techniques, vibrocompaction methods, and ground improvement processes.
- Familiarity with maritime safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
